Get Involved

Springfield Presbyterian Church isn’t just a place you visit once a week—it’s a family you belong to and a community you help shape. There are many wonderful ways to engage, serve, and grow.

Time & Talents

Time is a sought after commodity and we have a world that pulls us in about a hundred different directions. We have work, school, family, friends, hobbies, and everything else under the sun.

Yet, God calls us to take time, to serve God by serving the church through the talents and gifts that God has given you. We encourage you, whether your gift is in teaching, preaching, pastoral care, a trade, IT, or something else, please get in contact with us and use those gifts to benefit God's community here at SPC and the community we serve.

Supporting SPC

Springfield Presbyterian Church is a non-profit organization that thrives and relies on the generous gifts and offerings to continue its ministry. The word 'tithe' is often found in Scripture and it refers to 1/10th of your earnings per year. We, at Springfield, in humility and love, dedicate our funds to increasing the mission of Christ in the world by our witness, mission, and action.

Honor the Lord with your substance and with the first fruits of all your produce.

Proverbs 3:9 NRSV

Our Mission

Engage in Community Care & Outreach

From Congregational Care (CoCaMO), meals for neighbors, seasonal giving projects, community dinners, concerts, and mission partnerships, there are active ways to tangibly express God’s love to those around us.

Grow in Faith

Join a small group, Bible study, Sunday school, youth group, or adult education class—these spaces are designed for exploration, connection, and deepening your walk with Christ. Whether you’re new to faith or a longtime follower, there’s a place for you here. We invite you to jump in, make friendships, find meaning, and share in the joy of serving together.

Our Mission

Participate in the Arts

Music and creative expression play an important role in the worship life at SPC. Guided by the Worship & Arts Committee — a group of elders, musicians, and congregants — the church thoughtfully shapes worship experiences that reflect the values and voices of the congregation. The committee explores meaningful ways to incorporate music, liturgy, and the arts into worship throughout the year.
